2021–2022

Pandemic II was developed after returning to university, following a year of shielding. Re-entering the studio and being surrounded by others marked a significant shift from isolation to shared space. This project focuses on listening to and recording people’s experiences of the pandemic, using photography alongside audio to create a sense of connection and collective reflection.

The work explores the emotional similarities found across individual experiences, highlighting shared feelings of uncertainty, loss, calm, and resilience. By combining image and sound, Pandemic II invites viewers to engage more closely with these personal narratives, reinforcing the idea that these experiences were not faced alone.
